Strategy and planning

I thrive on using data and analytics to bring strategic plans to life. From working closely with IT to refresh an outdated tech stack to follow modern architecture using purpose-built platforms to partnering with product management to develop multi-portfolio product roadmaps, I have demonstrated ability to map out overarching goals segmented into 3 to 5 year plans.

Omnichannel experiences

Customer experience needs to be as agile and adaptable to evolving customer expectations. My holistic approach takes voice of customer and market research, a well-curated tech stack, and comprehensive change management to develop an intuitive and seamless customer journey across offline and online touchpoints.

Cross-functional team collaboration

Partnership across IT, Business Analysts, and Marketing teams is critical for successful, customer-centric implementation. This dynamic relationship is key to bridge technical feasibility and usability in managing websites or digital tools, providing customers excellent user experiences.

Stakeholder management

Digital transformation is all about stakeholder management. Internal communications, centrally accessible roadmaps and dashboards, and regular check-ins are key for stakeholder alignment. My transparent and data-driven approach fast tracks team buy-in to accelerate project prioritization.

Test and learn culture

Perfection is the enemy of progress, which is why iteration is mission-critical. From paid ad experiments to A/B tests to optimizing landing pages for better conversion, I led my team to continuously try new things and apply their learnings for the next round. 

Data and analytics

The Ecommerce team reviewed analytics daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure positive momentum. We monitored performance with Tableau, Looker Studio, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Search Console. To maintain customer data integrity, we performed routine data hygiene on our CRM (Salesforce & Pardot).

  • Built new team from the ground up to establish ecommerce as a digital commercial channel that are supported by the following key pillars: UX, growth, customer onboarding, merchandising and analytics.
  • Achieved remarkable results within the first two years, elevating the customer and order volume by 90%, and driving revenue growth by over 115% for the long tail.
  • Spearheaded merchandising best practices for Product Detail Page (PDP) optimization, which on average demonstrated a 196% increase in revenue and 127% increase in items sold.
  • Selected as a Gold Winner among 1500 submissions at the International NYX awards for launching a digital marketing campaign, “Extraordinary science starts with QuickExtract”.

  • Established a centralized global marketing communications team by integrating marketing responsibilities across 8 different acquisitions. 
  • Launched the LGC, Biosearch Technologies portfolio brand to unify all products from the acquired companies under a single brand for the entire business unit.
  • As Provisional Product Manager - launched the 2019-nCoV CDC Probe and Primer Kit for SARS-CoV-2 in 9 days, in addition to Coronavirus ValuPanel Reagents products, which generated 2.3m in revenue within the first year.  Launched a self-hosted panel discussion with COVID-19 thought leaders at the height of the pandemic and garnered almost 1500 registrants.  Also produced and released Countering Covid Podcast series highlighting different approaches to tackle the pandemic.
  • Spearheaded the creation of analytics reporting in Tableau with minimal resources because Business Intelligence team was not yet established.  Integrated Salesforce data into Tableau to track marketing ROI.  In a few years we were able to increase ROI from 4X to 10X.

  • Led a team of 15 responsible for marketing, ecommerce, product management, technical support, and distributors. 
  • Relaunched biosearchtech.com in 2016. Increased ecommerce sales by more than two-fold, averaging 2M USD in annual sales.
  • Launched a webinar with Nobel Laureate Kary Mullis as keynote speaker as part of a wider Celebrating PCR Anniversary campaign, which generated an all-time record high of 1500+ webinar registrations.
  • Named and launched the Stellaris product line and generated sufficient demand to evolve it into a multi-million dollar business in absence of a sales organization. 
  • Created in-house a microsite that includes interactive buyer enablement tools and qPCR Crush™, an industry-specific game.

  • Joined a small marketing team that turned over due to voluntary attrition by month 3 of my employment.  Was given the opportunity to grow the marketing team organically over time as I reinvented the marketing function at the company. 
  • Relaunched the website where in 2009, I worked closely with TheSpider in programming algorithms for a Configure Price Quote tool that would enable online ordering of custom oligonucleotides, probes, and primers, setting an ecommerce precedent at the company.
